The summer kink of boils down to fun represented in this craft.  Erin @ Bird and a Bean made cool glow in the dark jars to keep the joys of summer in our heart no matter the season.

Cindy @ Straddling the Gap is all about using up that which is leftover.  This bright and wonderful blanket is free form and invokes creativity.

Thanks to Jen at Iron Violet Designs for posting the flip flops she made.  That's right, she made them using a great tutorial from a fellow blogger.  Totally custom, these are on my todo list.  The fabric thong is great for people like me who have toes close together.

Jaclyn at Simply Cadence posted this tutorial about a simple way to curl your hair with a sock.  It totally reminds me of when my mom krimped my hair by braiding it after I took a shower.  Yeah 80s!
