Over the river and through the woods....

Let's play find the quilt square.  Ready? Go!
So memorial day weekend was fab fun.  I was able to take a few days off to go visit my 97 year old grandma.  Yep I said 97!  And she's still living in her own house on a farm out in the country.  Im keeping my fingers crossed I got alot of her genes.  Just thought I would share some snaps I took.    She's the original homemaker who taught my mom and of course me the ins and outs of a home made life.
Free Plants!  Strawberries, Snapdragons and Hydrangea to take home.

Grandma has made more quilts than I know.  Even now she's still piecing them together!
I love her cookbooks.  This one is dated 1956.
There was always homemade sweets at Grandma's, especially pies.  I made the strawberry rhubarb one on the right.
Me, Mom and Grandma.
Craft on!
